WORKS IN PROGRESS

Ready for Publication: "No Longer Foreigners and Aliens: Toward A Missiological Christology For U.S. Hispanics." After presenting the findings in a paper delivered at the Latino/a Religion Section of the Regional Meeting of the American Academy of Religion at Azusa Pacific University (4/17/00), I sent this article to Missiology: An International Review, a quarterly publication of the American Missiological Society.

In Progress: "The Contribution of Black and Hispanic Liberation Theologies to a Latino Evangelical Theology of Mission." This article will be completed in the fall of 2001. Upon acceptance of my proposal, it will first be delivered as a paper at the annual meeting of the American Academy of Religion/Western Region in March 2002.  I then hope to have it published in the Journal of the Evangelical Theological Society.

In Progress: In the spring of 2001 I began to conduct participant observations and interviews that will inform a paper and subsequent article entitled "Victory Outreach International: A Case Study in Holistic Inner-City Missions."  Field research will continue in earnest in the summer of 2001 thanks to a research grant provided by the Seaver Dean's office. My goal is to present the findings at the regional meeting of the Evangelical Theological Society in 2002, then submit the article for publication in the Journal of the Evangelical Theological Society, or Missiology.
