EDUCATION

Professor Olbricht attended Pepperdine University for her undergraduate degree in English. She then attended the University of New Hampshire, Durham, for her MA and PhD in English. She has taught at Pepperdine since
January, 1999

Her professional work has included conference presentations and publications in the fields of contemporary American popular culture, rhetoric and scriptural scholarship, and early British women's literature.
Her dissertation was entitled CLASS IN SEVENTEENTH CENTURY BRITISH DRAMA BY WOMEN and is currently being revised into a book manuscript. Her primary professional interests include literary theory, British women's
literature, early British literature (particularly drama), history of drama, and American cultural studies.

At Pepperdine, she teaches Chaucer, Old and Middle English Literature in Translation, and English Composition. This fall she will be teaching a First-year Seminar on the topic of British Drama by Women.
